After a starting out in Washington DC, there's a six hour drive to celebrate christmas with the grandparents. Next day: nine hour drive to the middle of nowhere in Georgia. Followed by a four hour drive to the airport.
Four more hours and I'm in Los Angeles to catch my nineteen hour flight to Korea, where I needed to transfer planes and catch the two hour flight to Bangkok. Hey, we're here. Oh wait, no we're not.... now it's
another flight down to some beach resort. Finally I got a good nights rest and was ready for the next day and the two hour boat ride to the next destination. And that really was the final goal.
Although there was a quarter mile walk to the other side of the island to catch a short boat ride to the place that was going to be home for the next few weeks.
